A proposition

I propose that we at blue gateway not abide by Smogon's tiers for the time being, and for battles held on this site, use our own Tiering system. We should still use Smogon's tiers as guidelines, but the system would be completely different. Here is a few suggestions by me:

- Create new tiers, remove others

- Change the names of the tiers, OU, UU, NU, can be kind of misleading

- Start from scratch, instead of moving some names around on Smogon's list, we should individually place each Pokémon in a tier.

This is not my way of bringing back Salamence, but Salamence's removal from OU got me looking at Smogon's tiers, and some of the Pokémon in each tier seem out of place. I think the members of this forum will benefit from a new system to use here, but that is up to them to decide. If this system is generally agreed upon by out community, I would recommend having the community work on this tiering system, as this proposal is meant to benefit all, having one person create the new tiering system would cause disagreements.

What do you guys think of this? Please provide some feedback Its just a suggestion, so if you guys don't like it, I won't force it upon you.

I do not want to use Smogons tiers. I like ours. We will just have to siwtch to a new Shoddy Server

we dont have to, smogon's server is the most reliable, we should just always play in Ubers, where we can use anything. Also, our tiers are identical to smogons, just a few days outdated, like i said, we should completely start from scratch,

I agree with this. I think we should update our uber list to smogons

No sorry but I hate smogons Uber list. I will keep Salamence in OU. If anything Magikarp would be Uber.

lets reset our tier list, create a Topic somewhere where we as a community can create the tiers for this site ourselves in a way that will satisfy everyone.

100% agree with that too.

I did create the tiers myself -_-. I mentioned that on Green Gateway.

But there is no (noticeable) difference between yours and smogons....

At first Garchomp wasn't uber but people argued it.

yeah..... and wobbuffet used to be UU, how is that relevant to this particular discussion.

Your only making things that are Uber OU and stuff, I'm saying we should COMPLETELY revamp the system, not even using the same tier structure or tier names as smogon's.
