So what where the major flaws in HG/SS?

i dunno really, i liked the fact that pokemon followed you

The originals they remade where my favorite games in the entire series.

gold and silver, yea they were good - pokemon silver was my first pokemon game too

my first pokemon game was Red (super old school) but I did like silver better.

Red was made even tougher in this game, which was a big plus. However, I was disappointed that the Johto Gym leaders and elite four still kept they're under leveled Pokémon, the only gym I had any trouble with in the entire game (which is the same gym that gave me trouble in the original Gold and Silver) was the Normal gym, and that blasted Miltank.

yea that stupid miltank and it's rollout, stomp and milk drink

i liked that they made red's team 7 lvls higher and that his espeon is replaced by a lapras

^I think I had to battle Whitney like four times lol.

i hated the game corner system, it wouldn't let you buy coins

And Voltorb Flip SUCKED.

yea, that was really dumb

Was it really based on anything?

no, i think nintendo made it so that they remove the gambling aspect but still have the game corner, but i think most people hated it

They actually had slot machines in Japan, I wonder what country is responsible for the lack of them in other versions (decides to blame Australia)

no i'm saying that the game corner was dubbed down in the US version too

That happened everywhere in the world, except Japan, think of it from their point of view, they have a "home" version of the game and a "Away" version of the game, everything besides the language in the "away" version will be exactly the same

Eh...japans home version allows a lot more violence and stuff like that. (that's why 4 kids edited it out).

good thing they don't own the rights to airing pokemon anymore.

yea you're right though there are other TV shows that have been edited out from the japanese version to the english version by 4kids

When you get to go to Kanto.

i liked it when you can catch the legendary birds and mewtwo in HGSS

I know thats pretty cool.

and also the fact you can get one of the kanto starters from professor oak

I still haven't done any of that n My Soulsilver yet. I can't now because I lost it.

i like the fact in HGSS that you can change the music to the original GSC music with the GB sounds

I know thats pretty cool. I also like the Hoenn and Sinnoh sounds.

yea, on the radio, it allows you to get hoenn and sinnoh pokemon

I wish you could get Sinnoh Starters in it.

i know they're the only set of starters you can't get in HGSS, probably because you can get them in diamond, pearl and platinum

I wish there was a legit way to obtain everyone Pokemon.

yea, i managed to get a scizor without metal coat, LEGIT too

ah ok then, do you actually wonder why your rival watches through the window, well my theory is that he spies on you so after you pick your starter he picks your starter's weakness

Exactly, cuz whe wants to beat you in battle for coming up to him at the window.

um in HG i caught kyogre in a premier ball, i catch the main hoenn legends in premier balls always

how long did it take you to get kyogre in a premier ball

4 premier balls, i paralyzed it and used false swipe, it was really lucky

it must've been lucky, i got soul silver and my friend got heart gold so both of us can get rayquaza

my brother got hearts gold and i got soul silver we do this for every game like im getting white and hes getting black
