A Pika Problem- Chp 22-24

Chp 22

(Pikachu was still stunned as Dragonite's hyper beam closed in closer and closer until it finally hit the spot Pikachu was.)
Ash: Pikachu!
(The area exploded and smoke filled the air. Ash couldn't see anything until he saw a white light in the dust, hitting something. The dust cleared showing a stumbling Dragonite, and an exhausted Pikachu.)
Madison: How did that miss?!
Ash: Nice job! Use Volt Tackle!
(Pikachu charges Dragonite with a full blast Volt Tackle.)
Madison: Use Slam!
(But Dragonite is too slow and gets hit and hits the ground. Dragonite struggles to get back up.)
Ash: Let's finish it! Use Thunderbolt!
(A powerful thunderbolt hits Dragonite and makes him collapse. Madison is stunned.)
Ref: Dragonite is unable to battle! The challenger is the winner!
Ash: We did it!
Pikachu: Whew.
(Pikachu wipes the sweat off his face and sits down.)
???: Way to go Ash!
(He turns to see Brock and Dawn with Buneary and the kids. Buneary and the kids run over to Pikachu.)
Brock: That was a great battle!
Dawn: I'm amazed that you beat a Dragonite!
Ash: Well, we've done it before! Say Pikachu, how did you dodge that Hyper Beam?
Pikachu: Same way as I did to Drake's Dragonite. Spring into the air using my tail.
(Pikachu smiles at his strategy. Madison walks over, speechless, gives Ash his badge, and walks away.)
Brock: Wow. She must be stunned.
Ash: Yea, but now I'm only one badge away from the Sinnoh League!
Dawn: Congratulations Ash!
Ash: Thanks Dawn!
(Pikachu returns over to Ash with Buneary and the kids.)
Ash: You okay?
Pikachu: Yep.
(They start to travel down to the first floor and start to head for the front door. They try to open the door, but find it locked.)
Brock: Hey! Who locked the door? This isn't funny!
???: HAHAHAHAHA!
Ash: Who's there?
Jessie: We're out of this world! Can't you tell by our suave demeanor?
James: Our grass is always greener!
Jessie: On the wind!
James: The stars!
Meowth: Neener, neener!
Jessie: Happy searching at a breakneck pace.
James: Dashing hope with a smile on my face!
Jessie: Joy by any other name's just as happy!
James: While you twerps are so sappy.
Jessie: Jessie!
James: And James!
Meowth: Meowth's the name!
Jessie: Putting the do-gooders in their place...
James: We're Team Rocket...
All: In your face!
Wobbuffet: Wobba!
Mime Jr.: Mime, mime!
Ash: How did you two get in here?!
Jessie: Easy, sneak in and tie up the other people in here! Now hand over that Pikachu!
Ash: In your dreams!
(Pikachu steps forward.)
Ash: You'll have to battle us first!
(Ash turns into a Pikachu which completely stuns Team Rocket.)
James: Did that twerp just turn into a Pikachu?
(All of their blasting of made them forget.)
Jessie: Well, then lets grab both of them! Go Seviper!
James: Carnevine, get off of me!
Jessie: *sigh* Seviper, use Poison Sting!
James: Carnevine, bullet seed!
(The projectiles fly towards the tow Pikachus.)
Ash: Together?
Pikachu: Together.
(Both launch powerful thunderbolts at the projectiles and the pokemon. They get shocked and faint.)
Jessie: Seviper!
James: Carnevine!
(Pikachu falls to one knee.)
Pikachu: Ash, I can't finish them, but you can.
(Pikachu attaches his tail to Ash's and thunderbolts him.)
Pikachu: Now finish them.
(Ash, with a supercharged electricity, charges the Rockets with a Volt Tackle. They fly through the ceiling and through the glass, breaking it.)
TR: Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again! Wobbuffet! Mime mime! *ding*
(The shattered glass starts to fall to the floor.)
Brock: Ash, look out!
(Ash covers his head and curls up into a ball. Glass falling all around him.)
Ash: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Everyone else: !!!
(A large shard has stabbed Ash in the arm, causing a huge cut.)
Pikachu: ASH! Are you okay?!
Ash: *grunts* I…I am for now. I need to get to the Pokemon Center though.
Brock: Right, I saw when we were on Flygon a pokemon center around the corner. Let's go!
(Brock kicks the door open.)
Brock: Dawn, I need you to go untie the other people.
Dawn: Right!
Brock: Let's go Ash!
(They run around the corner, Ash still on his feet running with him, trying to keep the wound from getting worse. They arrive in the pokemon center. Joy notices Ash.)
Joy: Oh my! We better get you healed!
Brock: But I need you to heal my heart! *Poison Jab*
Joy: Ooook. Let's get you into the E.R.

Chp 23

(Pikachu had followed Brock and Ashachu into the center. Brock had been poison-jabbed(AGAIN *sigh*) and had been dragged off by Croagunk. Ash had been taken into the E.R when Dawn, Buneary, Alexander, and Laura arrived. Pikachu was sitting calmly outside, waiting for Ash.)
Dawn: Where's Ash?
Pikachu: He's in the E.R. I think he should be okay though.
(He smiled.)
Buneary: You're taking this awfully well.
Pikachu: Well, it only got him in the arm. I don't think that should do too much.
Buneary: But what if it hit a major vein?
(Pikachu's smile turned into worry.)
Pikachu: I never thought of that.
(He still sat there calmly though.)
Brock: How's Ash?
Dawn: AHH! Where did you come from?
Brock: Outside.
Dawn: Why were you outside? Wait, on second thought, don't answer that. I think he's still in the E.R.
(Nurse Joy walks out.)
Joy: Your Pikachu should be fine! The glass went through his arm, but missed all of his major blood vessels. The back of his arm needed ten stitches and the front needed three. He should be ready in a few days though. You should consider yourselves lucky that it didn't hit anything important.
Dawn: When will we be able to take him out?
Brock: A better question is when will I be able to take you out?
(Poison-jabbed)
Brock: But it looks like I'll be taken out by Croagunk first.
(He gets dragged outside again.)
Joy: What's wrong with that guy?
Dawn: *sigh* Who knows?
Joy: Well anyway, you can take him out now if you like. He should be healed after about three weeks. Then, you must bring him to a pokemon center to get his stitches removed.
Dawn: Okay, thank you.
(Joy hands her a form, which she signs and takes Ash outside. Brock is waiting outside for them. Ash to wear a small sling for his arm so it can rest and doesn't get worse. He doesn't want to change because he could make the wound a lot worse. Pikachu and Buneary, with the kids, also walk out of the center.)
Brock: So, how'd it go?
Ash: Well, she pulled the glass out of my arm and stitched the cut closed. That's all it really was.
Pikachu: You going to be okay?
Ash: Of course I will!
(Pikachu smiles.)
Brock: Well, we better get going to Littlebrook Town. That's the last gym we have to go to.
Ash: Great, and I'll get my last badge!
Brock: But you'll have to wait since the town is only a few hours away and the person might freak out if they saw a talking Pikachu.
Ash: Yea, you're probably right. Hey, did you check into the hotel?
Brock: Oh yea! His favorite pokemon is a Pikachu. (LOL DIDN'T SEE THAT ONE COMING XD)
Ash: Oh really? Then let's go!
(They walked over to the hotel.)
Owner: Ah! You have a Pikachu!
Brock: Yes, I told you we had one.
(Ash climbs up onto the counter and the owner starts to pet him.)
Ash: *I don't know why, but this feels really good*
(Pikachu saw Ash was enjoying himself. The owner gave them their room key and Ash climbed down.)
Pikachu: Enjoying yourself?
(They both laugh and walk down the hallway to find room 235. They walk down to the end of the hallway, slide the card in and open it. Inside they find two king size beds, a T.V, a kitchen a dining room, a couch, and a screen glass door. Ash almost immediately runs to the couch and falls asleep sitting up.)
Brock: He must've been really tired. I'll get dinner ready.
(As Brock makes some stew, Dawn sits on the couch next to Ash and turns on a coordinator program, watching another contest from Jublife City. Buneary and Laura watch with interest as a Butterfree battles a Turtwig. Pikachu is throwing Alexander up into the air and catching him outside. Buneary walks outside with Pikachu. He stops throwing Alexander and puts him down and starts to converse with Buneary. Alexander walks away towards a tree. Laura comes outside and follows him to the tree. They try to climb it, but can't.)
Pikachu: Alexander! Laura! Come over here please!
(The both sprint over faster than ever thought possible and run into Pikachu.)
Pikachu: Whoa!
Buneary: !
(He falls over on his back, the kids on top of him.)
Pikachu: Uuuuuuuuugh. What happened?
Buneary: I think they just learned quick attack.
(Pikachu smiles and gives them both a big hug and pulls Buneary down and kisses her. She blushes and pulls the kids off of Pikachu and pulls him up too. They stare at each other and blush brightly and walk inside.)
Brock: Hey guys! Dinner is ready!
(Ash suddenly awakes.)
Ash: Food? Huh? What?
Dawn: Alright!
Ash: ???
Pikachu: Brock just finished dinner.
Ash: Oh.
(They walk into the dining room and sit down. Dawn and Brock eat the stew while the others eat the pokefood. After they finish up, Brock cleans up and they head to bed. Brock and Dawn get the two separate beds, Ash goes back to the couch and falls asleep again with the kids falling asleep right next to him, and Pikachu and Buneary find a spare blanket and make a pallet on the floor. They both look at each other and blush furiously. They lean closer to each other and make out for a minute. They break the kiss and Pikachu holds Buneary very closely.)
Pikachu: I think you're a good mother.
Buneary: Well, I think you're a great father.
(They both blush again, kiss, and fall asleep, Buneary in Pikachu's arms. The next morning, they all wake up at sunrise, ate breakfast, checked out of the hotel and start for Littlebrook Town. They start to walk down Route 266.)
Ash: You won't believe this, but that couch was really comfortable.
Brock: Well the beds were probably more comfortable than the couch.
Dawn: I'd agree with that.
(They had walked for about two hours down the quiet road before the small town of Littlebrook was in sight. Although Ash wanted to rush, he couldn't cause his arm held him back. The small town had only a few houses, a store, a farm, and the pokemon gym in the middle. They walked for another 30 minutes into the town center and walked into the gym.)
Brock: Hello? Is the gym leader here?
???: Why yes I- Ash, Dawn, Brock! Good to see you again!
(The others were all shocked.)
All: Austin?!

Chp 24

(Ash was shocked. Austin had never told him this.)
Ash: You're…you're a gym leader?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS?!
Austin: I guess I was so wrapped up in all the incidents I forgot to. Hey, what happened to your arm?
Ash: A piece of glass fell on me.
Austin: Ouch! That must've hurt. I hope you're okay.
Ash: I will be. But now, I need my 8th badge!
Austin: Well, you're going to have to beat me to get it!
(Ash suddenly realized his pokeballs had disappeared when he changed into a Pikachu and he knew changing into a human could be risky, but he didn't have much of a choice so he changed. He looked at his arm and saw it wasn't any bigger or worse than it had been, which surprised him, but his arm really started to ache, so he put his pokeballs off of his belt, put them down, and changed back.)
Austin: All right, let's go Typhlosion!
(He throws out Typhlosion.)
Ash:*Oh damn, I don't have any water pokemon.*
Dawn: Hey Ash!
(He turns to see a Piplup.)
Dawn: Why not use Dawn the Piplup?
Ash: Uh, you sure?
Dawn: Of course I am! I've been practicing.
Ash: Well, ok then, just give it your best!
(She steps forward. Austin is a little worried.)
Ref: All right, this will be a 3-on-3 match. And begin!
Austin: All right Typhlosion, use Flamethrower!
(He starts the flamethrower, but Dawn counter with Bubble Beam and cuts right through the flames and hits Typhlosion.)
Austin: We won't let a few bubbles stop us! Use quick attack!
(He dashes off towards Dawn. She dodges and uses Peck on his head. He gets a little dizzy, but recovers.)
Austin: Use Flame Wheel!
(Typhlosion engulfs himself in flames and charges Dawn. She tries to dodge, but is too slow and gets hit. She quickly bounces up.)
Ash: You want to come out?
Dawn: I'll be fine.
(She uses bubble beam, which abruptly turns into Water Gun. She hits Typhlosion with both. Typhlosion is starting to become weak.)
Austin: Use Quick Attack!
(Typhlosion charges again. Dawn does the same and the heads collide, creating a big explosion.)
Ash: Dawn!
Austin: …
(The smoke clears showing both of them on the ground.)
Ref: Both pokemon are unable to battle!
(Buneary hops over and carries her to the stands. Austin returns Typhlosion.)
Ash: You did good Dawn!
Austin: Well, that was an interesting battle. Let's go!
(He throws out another pokeball. Out forms a Pikachu.)
Ash: Let's go Torterra!
(He opens his ball and Torterra forms out.)
Austin: *Great, a ground type. This won't be easy.* Pikachu, use Iron Tail!
Ash: Embrace it!
Torterra: ?!
(Austin's Pikachu hits Torterra right in the head, but acts as if nothing happened.)
Austin: This isn't good.
Ash: Use Tackle!
(Torterra charges Austin's Pikachu, but is much too quick for him.)
Ash: Good! Now use Razor Leaf!
(Torterra throws the projectiles. Pikachu can't dodge them and gets hit.)
Ash: Finish it! Use Energy Ball!
(Torterra shoots the Energy Ball at Austin's Pikachu, who is stunned from the Razor Leaf and lands a direct hit. A small explosion occurs. After the smoke clears, all that iis left is an unconscious Pikachu.)
Ref: Pikachu is unable to battle! Torterra is the winner!
Austin: All righty then.
(He returns Pikachu.)
Austin: Let's go!
(He throws his third Pokeball and a Vulpix forms.)
Austin: Let's go Vulpix, use Flamethrower!
(Torterra has no time to dodge it and it engulfed it flames, which is super effective on Grass Types. Torterra then faints.)
Ref: Torterra is unable to battle! Vulpix is the winner!
Ash: Wow. One hit.
(He returns Torterra.)
Ash: You ready Pikachu?
Pikachu: Always.
(He runs forward.)
Austin: All right Vulpix! Use Flame- CRASH!
(The wall caves in and explodes. An arm extends grabbing Pikachu and Vulpix.)
Ash+Austin: Hey!
Everyone else: !!!
???: HAHAHAHAHAHA!
(A huge robot appears with a giant R on it.)
Ash: Are you freaking kidding me?!

Jessie: Listen up, it comes courtesy of you-know-who!
James: Not like we have anything better to do!
Jessie: On the wind,
James: The stars,
Meowth: Boo-ga-boo!
Jessie: Bringing chaos at a breakneck pace!
James: Dashing hope, putting fear in its place!
Jessie (with echo): A dual of Jessie's sounds twice as sweet!
James (with echo): Hey, I've got it too, isn't that neat!
Jessie: Jessie!
James: And James!
Meowth: Meowth's, now that's a name!
Jessie: Putting the do-gooders in their place...
James: We're Team Rocket...!
All: In your face!
Austin: Hey, give us back our pokemon!
(They all laugh and stick their tongues out. Pikachu is desperately using Thunderbolt, but isn't working. Vulpix is using Flamethrower, but to no avail. Suddenly, a bright green object flies through the wall and tackles the robot. The robot loosens its grip on Pikachu. He is able to slide out both arms and his body. Vulpix isn't so lucky. The object lands to reveal Justin and his Flygon. Justin jumps off.)
Justin: I heard you beat the leader in Suncove. I wanted to come watch and then I saw the robot break in.
Ash: Well, it's good to see you again!
(Pikachu runs up next to Ash and is suddenly Thunderbolted.)
Ash: That should super-charge you. Now use Volt Tackle!
Justin: Flygon, Aerial Ace!
(They both charge the robot and crash through the center, causing it to explode.)
Jessie: You know what? I've had it with those twerps!
James: Well, tell it to the writer.
Mewoth: But now…
TR: It looks like we're blasting off again! Wobbuffet!
(Vulpix hits the ground and Austin runs over to him.)
Austin: Are you okay?
Vulpix: I will be.
(Austin smiles and walks over to Ash.)
Austin: I don't usually do this, but as a token of my appreciation, here is the last badge you'll need for the Sinnoh League!
Ash: Are you serious?!
Austin: I am!
Ash: Alright! I'm going to the Sinnoh League!
Pikachu: Woo hoo!
Ash: Thank you so much Austin.
Austin: No problem. Thank you for getting Vulpix back. The tournament is in one month in Ruinsdale Town. I hope you do well at the Sinnoh League!
Ash: Thanks! Be sure to thank Justin too but where can I find this place?
Austin: You need to take Route 267. It will take about a week, but there are many towns along the way. And thank you too Justin!
Justin: Don't mention it! Well, too bad I missed the match. I better get home. Good luck Ash!
Ash: Thanks Austin and Ash!
(They walk out the door and start on their way to Ruinsdale Town.)
